First animated gem from what would later become the Pixar king, Toy Story was a real achievement and a big movie success. Released in 1995 in the US and co-produced by Disney, the first long feature to be totally generated in computer images has marked a turning point in the history of animated cartoon and was a pioneer to a more mature animated cinema from a scenario’s point of view as well as visually speaking.
On the verge of uncovering Woody and Buzz’s 3rd adventures, a tribute will first be paid to the two other episodes from the saga on 2nd October in the US, where both will be re-released in movie theatres, only this time entirely redone with 3-D techniques…. The announcement could have been a little disappointing to fans, hadn’t Pixar decided to our relief to present the two features at the price of one… In the meantime, feel free to check this short trailer full of humour!
